Additional Compatibility Statement

Joomla Knowledgebase runs upon our own bfFramework which is very advanced and complex, in an order to be compatible with Joomla and other extensions. In an ideal world there would be no conflicts, however in our experience some developers do not take compatibility seriously.

bfFramework provides and requires xAJAX 0.5 (RC or above) which is provided by the Blue Flame xAJAX Plugin which is installed automatically when you install Joomla Knowledgebase. Other xAJAX components can utilize this plugin, many do. bfFramework also includes mootools and jQuery, both are set in compatibility mode.
Installing Joomla Knowledgebase/bfFramework will render components that are written for xAJAX 0.2.4 useless - those components will no longer work as the syntax of xAJAX 0.5 is different. For example, JReviews still uses v0.2.4 of xAJAX and would no longer work after the bfFramework was installed. We do not keep a complete list of other xAJAX components. Please CHECK before purchasing.

As it is impossible for us to test our framework with every line of code of every other plugin for Joomla we have to make our component as compatible as possible - we have spent a lot of time on this! - however there may be times when, through no fault of ours, our component just will not work with other components. If this is the case we ask that you let us know of any conflicts and we will do our best to provide compatibility in those cases also

Joomla Knowlegebase is written and tested in Joomla, and with many other components installed - however it is impossible to be certain that the PHP code you had a *insert 3rd world country* programmer write you for $10 will be compatible

Incompatibility with other 3rd Party Components is NOT a reason to grant a refund! Its impossible for us to be miricle workers! - please refer to the official Refund Policy for further details on getting help.
